Description

TASKS

  • Ensure sales development on regular basis following the territory assigned
  • Maintain customers developed previously
  • Do the buying and negotiation of rates for the ocean freight
  • Make quotations for all modes of transportation and ensure the follow up
  • Ensure customer satisfaction during and after the service provide and treat the complains if required
  • Participate to weekly sales meeting and the monthly meeting with all board of managers. Preparation if required
  • Provide sales reports required on weekly basis
  • Ensure the good reputation of the company by supplying an excellent customer service
  • Promote the company and their services
  • Participate to the yearly sales previsions
  • Create and maintain the sales files (SOP)
  • Other activities required by the Director
EDUCATIONAL / ACADEMIC
  • High School Certification required plus a significant sales experience for Freight forwarders
OR
  • Diploma for DEC Logistics or CIFFA Certification
  • Sales certification is an asset
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
  • Dynamic, organized, leadership, good communicator, team work
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Bilingual in English and French for both oral and written communication skills
  • Transport knowledge
  • Ability to effectively deliver presentations to a variety of audiences
